Designing a new tarot deck is a challenge that countless artists have taken on; our students joined this tradition by reinterpreting a card of interest, exploring how their unique visual language can present the traditional meaning of the card in a novel manner. Embracing the graphic tradition of tarot cards, we used markers and micron pens to create the richly detailed color and linework in these drawings.
